The Vermont Energy Company. prices its gasoline unlike any other. At our stores you actually pay less for gas for cars that are more energy efficient. We call it “Progressive Pricing”.

This doesn’t mean that we charge more for Suburbans, we don’t. We simply keep the retail price the same as the station across the street and then offer discounts for vehicles that are more efficient.

If you drive a car with EPA highway milage rating of 35 MPG or more we'll give you a 3¢ discount.

If you drive a car with EPA highway milage rating of 45 MPG or more we'll give you a 5¢ discount.

For the time being we need gasoline, but the Good Carma™ gas discount is our way of rewarding those who are working hard to use our resources carefully.
